Like many others, I used to believe that my story was not really worth telling. I am “just a normal girl. with no significance…”
But God does not see me that way.
Only when I was able to see my story through HIS eyes and when I became so aware of HIS LOVE AND VALUE for me
was I able to put together my incredible story. HIS story of my life!
Now that is a valuable precious story! And we’ve only written 43 chapters!
My name is Magrieth. Yes, with the “h”.
Medically was declared a “mistake” because my mother had a sterilization after four miscarriages. Medically a mistake
to have bypassed his sterilization operation.
But God had a plan and a purpose for my life and MIRACULOUSLY ten years after this sterilization I WAS BORN.
9 February 1981
And never a dull moment from there.
Yet – to the naked human eye – a very ordinary insignificant life…
How faithful of God to change my medical mistake report to one of medical significance!
In 2021 | had mild covid. I was not that ill – not even
hospitalized.
In Oct 2021 I collapsed at work presenting stroke-like
symptoms. After medical examination I was diagnosed with an incurable disease – ME/CFS.
As a result of COVID – my immune system attacked my healthy cells and left me home-bound and in a wheelchair.
In May 2023 – Medically nothing could be done. They could only manage my pain levels but a care facility or a permanent carer at home was my future. I was not able to do anything
for myself anymore. I was alive in a dead body.
In June 2023 I attended a church service and a visiting pastor – Evangelist Daniel Du Toit prayed for me. God instantly healed my body. I went to a church in a wheelchair and left church fully healed and restored!
Two and a half years of standing in faith. Trusting and
believing that God had a plan for my future. To prosper me and not to harm me. That my sickness shall not end in death but it shall be for His glory. That I had only to be still and know that HE is God working all things for my good and His Glory. That when the time was right THE LORD was going to
make it happen. That THE ONE WHO PROMISED is faithful. That the gates of hell could not prevail over what GOD has
planned purposed and destined for my life.
In total 43 years of “A medical mistake” became a medical mystery as my healing is supernatural and can not be Medically explained.
I am forever grateful for what the Lord has done.
Not only in the ONE miracle – but throughout my whole life!
I am not what happened to me. I am what happens through me!
I am Magrieth Watkins I am a child of God.
I am a kingdom kid.
I was not created mediocre. NO! I was purposed and destined for a time such as this!!!
